Requisition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced ADAS Vehicle
Integration Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In
this role, you will be responsible for vehicle-level integration,
calibration, and verification of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance
Systems (ADAS) on PACCAR vehicle platforms. The selected individual
will work in a global, cross-divisional, and innovative team to
develop and test "Best in Class" vehicle functions for North

PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the
truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative
product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in
the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.Job
Functions / Responsibilities
Execute vehicle-level testing on
closed-courses and public roads to verify ADAS performance and
functionality meets PACCAR requirements.Collaborate with
cross-functional teams (e.g. hardware, software, testing) and
external suppliers to integrate ADAS features and ensure end-to-end
functionality.Translate customer requirements into ADAS Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs), software calibration data, and
configurations for the organization.Develop calibrations on PACCAR
and supplier ECUs to achieve ADAS KPIs and manage
configurations.Provide technical expertise and support to PACCAR
divisions and suppliers on a wide variety of ADAS development
topics including system integration, requirement reviews, failure
mode analysis, ISO 26262 and SOTIF work products, and testing
demands.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for
requirements verification and benchmarking activities.Troubleshoot
and resolve integration and software defects discovered during
testing.Manage commissioning, instrumentation, and configuration of
prototype vehicles and testing equipment.Identify opportunities and
provide input for new initiatives to improve calibration and
testing methods for higher efficiency and effectiveness.Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering,
Systems Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of relevant work
experience in automotive industry.Strong systems engineering
background including experience interpreting and testing to
requirements.Experience with vehicle data acquisition systems and
ADAS test equipment (e.g. ATI Vision, Vector tool suite, soft
targets, VBOX, AB Dynamics, OxTS, steering/braking robots,
etc).Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability and
desire to obtain.Knowledge of vehicle and powertrain management
systems and integration.Ability to work independently and in a team
environment.Excellent communication skills including ability to
communicate technical information to technical and non-technical
audiences.Ability to travel up to 10%.Desired Qualifications
3+ years of experience with ADAS
development, integration, or testing.Knowledge of vehicle
perception sensors (e.g. camera, lidar, radar, ultrasonic) and
lateral/longitudinal vehicle control actuators (e.g. torque
control, steering, braking).Proficiency in using a programming or
scripting language (e.g. Python, C++, or MATLAB) for developing
testing and data analysis scripts.Knowledge of diesel and electric
powertrains on Class 5-8 vehicle applications.Knowledge of vehicle
dynamics including tractor-trailer combinations.Good understanding
of ISO 26262 and ISO/PAS 21448.Experience with drive-by-wire
systems and controls.Good understanding of ADAS test protocols such
as NCAP, ISO, IIHS, or NHTSA.PACCAR Benefits As a U.S. PACCAR
