As part of the Distribution organization, Client Development serves as a focal point for our customers to achieve success with SAP Concur. As a Customer Engagement Executive, you will be responsible for developing high-trust advisor relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders. A key to success in this role is the ability to lead customers to achieve their goals and expand consumption of their SAP Concur program as measured through revenue under management, retention and relationship health. This is a strategic role working with our customers and internal cross-functional SAP Concur teams and has central importance to our ongoing success as a company.-- Location: West Coast, Virtual Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 35-45 clients within the Healthcare industry including inpatient, outpatient, insurance, senior care, homecare, and staffing organizations. Customers may range from small regional operators to large-scale, global companies with a high-level of complexity, focus, and intensity
  • Establish success metrics, annual goals and key objectives with each customer and maintain broad and deep relationships within each customer account, driving a successful Client Lifecycle Management strategy that maximizes customer value from SAP Concur.
  • Develop and facilitate executive meetings with customers, and achieve quarterly goals with customer as determined in the business reviews
  • Anticipate, identify, and prioritize client needs/issues/concerns; motivate and mobilize customers and cross functional partners through diplomatic collaboration and unambiguous communication to remove roadblocks / identify solutions
  • Execute on internal projects involving client base
  • Document complete, consistent and quality activity/contact records in Salesforce.com for each client
  • Provide constant feedback to Leadership on client strategy and health of the relationship
  • Lead or participate on cross-functional teams to discuss accounts and look for trends or commonalities.
  • Ensure the best interests of both clients and SAP Concur are being fairly and objectively represented. Advocate for and become voice of the customer within SAP Concur; understand competitive threats and utilize proper escalation channels to help customer during times of need.
  • Develop advanced account strategies that drive success through delivering value and insight relevant and unique to each customer
  • Achieve client satisfaction, retention, and growth objectives
  • Develop trusting and deep relationship with multiple stake-holders
  • Drive customer references and business transformational stories across accounts
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies --Job Specific Knowledge and Skills
    • Know how to get things done through formal channels and informal networks
    • Understand various levels of customer organization (C-Level, System Admin/User, Finance, HR, IT, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of SaaS models and the Cloud mindset
    • Thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast paced and evolving environment
    • Possess strong commercial experience developing account management plans
    • Energy and drive - self-starter, with energy, drive and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, defines key objectives, and develops strategies, action plans and the ability to lead a cross functional team to the key objectives
    • See conflict as opportunity and assess situations and find common ground quickly
    • Broad understanding of business, financial systems and organizational decision-making
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to engage and interact with internal teams to drive the process of resolving client issues
    • Excellent planning and project management capabilities
    • Ability to create and give presentations to small and large groups of people
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies Education, Experience, and Training
      • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent experience
      • 8 - 10 years of Customer Success, Account Management or Sales experience
      • Experience working in healthcare or managing customers in the healthcare industry is a plus
      • Financial, expense management or travel industry experience and insight preferred
      • Consulting experiences a plus
