The ideal candidate will be adept at technical accounting research, developing accounting policies, drafting technical memos, and implementing accounting policy. They will assist with month-end close, including the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package. The candidate will have a chance to participate in a variety of key accounting projects as the company continues to scale. Candidates should be organized, detail oriented, and motivated. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and growth-oriented company. This position reports to the Director of Financial Reporting.Responsibilities* Prepare and review Icertis' financial statements, including support schedules, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.* Monitor current accounting and regulatory developments with regards to current FASB pronouncements, SEC rules, and other standard setting organizations.* Draft technical accounting memos in accordance with GAAP and provide guidance to the accounting and finance teams.* Develop, maintain, and distribute Icertis accounting policies; consult with operations as appropriate in application of our policies. Train accounting and business personnel as needed.* Help with the implementation of our Sarbanes-Oxley program.* Review new contracts to ensure appropriate application of GAAP.* Coordinate external audit and quarterly reviews, including implementation of new accounting policies.Required Skills And Qualifications* B.A./B.S. in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of five years of accounting experience* CPA required* Public Accounting experience required* Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley monitoring required* Ability to analyze and interpret accounting and financial issues and apply technical literature appropriately* Requires knowledge of SEC regulatory reporting* Ability to work effectively and independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
