Job Title: Accounting Manager - eCommerce

Job Summary:

This is a newly created People Manager role will be responsible for building out TPCi's B2C Accounting team to support TPCi's B2C business, which encompasses eCommerce (Pok--moncenter.com) and Vending (Automated Retail). The position will identify, and partner with the business teams to centralize the accounting and financial activities currently performed by different teams. This role will establish processes, disciplines, metrics, and reporting to support strategic objectives of our B2C businesses. Furthermore, this manager will manage the relationship between TPCi and the payment processors (PayPal, Chase Paymentech, American Express) and coordinate with the business in the implementation of future payment platforms, including gift card and BNPL platforms.

What you'll do

Manage the team responsible for the posting and reconciliation of B2C sales, receipts, and chargebacks.

Manage the relationship between Accounting, and the eCommerce and Vending teams.

Monitor and help resolve payment issues, investigate issues related to fraud and chargebacks.

Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities

Establish metrics and analytics to support business teams to drive improvements to operational and financial results

Develop, implement, and/or improve integration between the accounting and order management systems (OMS).

Assist in the implementation of new ERP (Oracle Cloud) to optimize integration with Ecommerce and Vending OMS.

Manage and establish new accounting relationships with payment processors, platforms, and gateways.

Drive resolution of root causes identified with B2C and Systems teams and provides financial impact analysis of issues identified.

Stay current with industry trends and recommend process or policy changes to business teams as appropriate.

Prioritize team tasks while providing active coaching to team of talented individuals.

Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

What you'll bring

Six (6), or more, years of relevant experience with at least one (1) year as a People Manager of B2C accounting department required.

Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including international business teams.

Certified Public Accountant designation and Big Four (public accounting) experience preferred.

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.

Working knowledge of the COSO internal control framework and a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency

Aptitude for team leadership-influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in accounting and software (Dynamics AX or Oracle Cloud preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
