Job DescriptionActriv Healthcare is hiring an experienced Vice President of Finance to provide strategic management of the company's financial statements and finance department. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management for a healthcare organization including GAAP accounting to financial reporting and experience in M&A and private equity transactions. As a member of Actriv's executive team, the VP of Finance will be a leader in the company and will be responsible for planning and executing the company's financial strategy. The VP of Finance will work closely with Actriv leaders providing strategic financial planning and execution. Measurable activities will range from revenue expansion to business forecasting.Responsibilities---Strategic financial leadership and fundraising.---Provide critical insights and hands-on leadership with regard to strategic, financial and corporate development decisions as well as financing/M&A, risk management, resource allocation and business optimization.---Oversee financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and accounting processes while supporting the ability to rapidly and efficiently scale.---Develop strong external relationships with key stakeholders, investors and bankers to contribute to the company's overall growth strategy.---Enhance and execute financial strategy, playing a key role in raising venture capital through equity financings or other alternatives.---Expand and further standardize accounting and financial processes across the entire organization.---Create and establish financial objectives that align with the company's plan for short-term and long-term growth and expansion, and monitor exceptions to those objectives.---Direct accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.---Control and evaluate the company's fundraising plans and capital structure.---Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations.---Supervise staff accountant and revenue cycle administrator, and review all month-end closing activities; continuously mentor and train an accounting team.---Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state and federal tax returns prepared by a public accounting firm.---Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.---Perform risk management by analyzing the company's liabilities, exposures, insurance requirements and investments.---Select, engage and maintain relationships and strategic alliances with vendors, business partners, consultants, auditors, investors, investment institutions and banking relationships.---Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.---Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and company's policies.---Communicate, engage and interact with the Board of Directions, Leadership Team, Executive Team and other departments as required.Qualifications---3+ years as a VP of Finance or CFO for a fast growing startup.---Healthcare experience at an early stage startup, health tech, digital health or clinical background---Helped lead a capital fundraising experience of at least $20million.---In depth knowledge of GAAP, technical accounting, corporate financial law and risk management practices.---Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.---Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence - ability to motivate staff.---Excellent communication and people skills, as well as analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.---Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as an individual contributor, people manager and executive leader.---Located in Bellevue, WA.$175,000 - $225,000 a yearAbout Actriv HealthcareActriv Healthcare is reinventing the way healthcare professionals connect with facilities - leveraging technology to help healthcare professionals do what they love by matching them with shifts that fit their lifestyles.
