a major impact in developing countries but get too little attention

diagnostics. Our work in infectious diseases focuses on strategies
to fight and prevent HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, neglected
tropical diseases, enteric and diarrheal diseases, pneumonia, and
maternal, newborn and child health. These strategies are supported
by functional & cross cutting teams that focus on Discovery and
Translational Sciences, Vaccine Development, Innovation
Introduction, and Integrated Development. The Vaccine Development
(VDev) team's vision is to ensure a secure and sustainable supply
of consistently high quality, appropriately priced vaccines that
are efficiently delivered to meet the needs of global health
populations - whether through our direct product development
efforts, functional support to program strategy teams, investments
in technology development or technical advocacy in the vaccine
development ecosystem.Your Role As a key member of the Clinical &
HPV Domain, the Senior Strategy Implementation Officer is
accountable for leading strategy development, execution and
management of key initiative areas. You will partner closely with
the Deputy Director, Clinical Vaccine Development (DD) and Deputy
Director, Strategy Planning and Management (DDSPM) to contribute to
the continued development of the team's strategic vision including
participating in the setting of the overall strategy and goals for
the group. Role level may be adjusted based upon experience of
candidate. This person will be a member of the Strategy, Planning,
and Management team and report to our DDSPM. What You'll DoClinical
Strategic Support
- Partner with Deputy Director (DD), Clinical Vaccine
Development, as well as other Clinical team members and experts
across disciplines, to drive strategy development for new bodies of
work and strategy refinement/refresh of existing bodies of work as
needed
- Act as "chief-of-staff" for the Deputy Director, Vaccine
Development covering the Clinical initiative.
- Provide day-to-day management of a portfolio of grants, tapping
into technical expertise across team as needed
- Manage content development for executive leadership meetings,
partner discussions, and during annual planning/strategy review for
relevant initiative areas
- Lead the integration of strategies and execute plans across
VDev, GH and other Foundation teams (e.g. Global Development)
- Partner across our legal, finance and business support teams to
expedite investment workflow process for investments in overall
domain scope
- Support facilitation, project management, stakeholder
management, and follow-up on action items for cross-cutting
initiatives
- Support ongoing internal engagement with foundation leadership
as it relates to domain Initiatives
- Flex across the team to take on new projects as needs arise
Engagement with Internal and External Partners
- Work with internal partners to identify and cultivate external
partners to build coalitions and achieve objectives; manage
partnerships to achieve impact
- Attend internal meetings to represent Clinical and VDev, as
well as being a representative of the foundation at external
meetings
- Work with internal partners to actively search for and create
opportunities for partners and solutions to leverage available
resources
- Work with internal partners to search for and create
opportunities to develop new partnerships and between external
partners that will advance GH programs
- This role is accountable for high quality interactions and
clear and consistent communications with grantees and partners in
the field
- This role will require the ability to travel up to 25%
domestically and internationally. Your ExperienceWe are looking for

- Proven program and stakeholder management skills: ability to
coordinate inputs from many people; to track progress against
targets and identify barriers to progress; to plan agendas and
facilitate meetings; and to organize, evaluate, and communicate
information succinctly and effectively in PowerPoints and
memos
- Strong judgment with a demonstrated ability to handle complex
issues, multiple tasks, confidential information, and competing
priorities with skill, discretion, a strong attention to detail,
flexibility and diplomacy
- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication
skills, able to effectively calibrate input and synthesize
information to connect with diverse audiences
- Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to apply structure to
simplify complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and
enthusiasm in a fast-paced and complex internal and external
environment
- Master's degree (MPH or MBA) plus 2+ years of management
consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, written and oral
communication skills, and experience advocating and communicating
with a broad and diverse audience
- Proven ability to lead and influence data-driven strategic
planning and implementation
- Ability to synthesize technical and commercial information for
communication and decision making
- Excellent relationship management skills to develop trusting
and productive relationships with a wide range of colleagues,
dignitaries, leaders, grantees, consultants and other
partners.
- Intellectual quickness, curiosity, discipline, resourcefulness
and resilience
- Solid understanding of the realities and complexities of
matrix-based organizations Other Attributes
- Experience with the vaccine industry, pharmaceutical product
development or commercialization a plus
- Experience working in LMIC settings a plus
- Experience working on teams with diverse culture and
professional backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
- Commitment to transparency and real-time information sharingThe
salary range for this role is $166,300 to $249,500 USD. We
recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington
D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in
these locations is $181,200 to $271,800 USD. As a mission-driven
organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission
and new hires are typically brought into the organization at a
salary range between the minimum and the midpoint salary range.
Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate's
job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during
