Job Description Job Description Senior Accounting Analyst Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Type: 9-month contract Compensation: $45-$55/hour (DOE) Job Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst to support accounting operations, financial analysis, and reporting activities. This role blends hands-on accounting with analytical responsibilities and is ideal for a strong individual contributor who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and supporting accurate financial reporting. CPA is not required. Key Responsibilities Support month-end and quarter-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts; investigate and resolve variances Assist with internal and external financial reporting Develop and maintain analytical schedules and reporting tools Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Finance teams on reporting and analysis Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis Assist with process improvements, documentation, and system enhancements Support ad hoc accounting and reporting projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-8 years of progressive accounting and/or financial analysis experience CPA not required Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience in a corporate or shared services environment Exposure to financial reporting or FP&A collaboration Prior contract or project-based accounting experience Benefits: LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
