The Applied AI Solutions Finance team in AWS seeks a Finance Manager to support our new Decisioning & Planning agentic solutions business. This team is revolutionizing how teams make decisions, forecast, and plan across Supply Chain and a number of other business verticals. This role offers direct business partnership and will work closely with key business partners, tech leaders, and senior finance management to drive strategy and financial modeling for new solution offerings and develop first-of-their-kind pricing models for AI-native solutions. In addition, the Finance Manager will drive rhythm-of-the-business mechanisms, financial reporting and planning, cost optimization, decision support, and controllership. Key job responsibilities As a Finance Manager, you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Leading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and features - Full P&L ownership of all services and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and improve free cash flow - Influencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protection - Managing projects that significantly impact the business including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations - Leading the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes including continuously evolving the forecasting approach to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers and narratives to senior leadership - Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews - 5 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field - Master's degree, or MBA in finance, accounting or related field - Demonstrated ability to develop and present analyses and insights to senior management - Experience in implementing financial reporting and scalable processes - Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly-changing environment - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion - Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning and the presentation of alternatives. - Strong Passion for complex problem solving - Excellent Excel skills Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
