Job Description:

We're looking for a Manager, Social Media to lead and develop a team of social media experts that own T-Mobile's social media editorial calendar and publishing efforts. This role will own and create an editorial social strategy that ensures T-Mobile's brand is cohesively and consistently represented on our social channels. The Manager, Social Media is always keeping their pulse on the latest trends and updates in social media to inform the team how to best show up on social platforms. This role will collaborate across social teams, paid, analytics, and lines of business so that the output on social media is strategic and purposeful. This position requires a creative, passionate leader who can build and deliver a winning social and editorial strategy.

What you'll do in your role.

  • Strategically maintain the day-to-day editorial calendar to ensure an optimal mix of social content topics and types across social media platforms to showcase impactful, high-quality content.
  • Serves as a business partner and represents the social team cross-functionally to provides social counsel and best practices. Supports the fundamental operations of the social team and makes recommendations to management, clarifies strategy in thoughtfully and delivers the highest quality product on time.
  • Advise and facilitate the use of social media tools to align social strategy, advise on best practices, measure social performance, and establish cohesive social presence across social teams.
  • Stays current with social media trends and incorporates into strategy as appropriate.
  • Regularly updates and maintains branded content on social media platforms on an "up to" daily basis to keep content current/relevant.
  • Acts as brand steward ensuring T-Mobile is represented consistently from a visual and messaging perspective.
  • Establish social media best practices and channel governance to bring our social media strategy to life in a consistent and strategic fashion.
  • Anticipate and initiate reporting/analytics and deliver results and feedback to cross-functional partners.
  • Work cross-functionally within the social team and marketing, PR, care and executive social to find synergies and opportunities The experience you'll bring.

    4-7 Years: Owning editorial calendars and content across several social teams, LOBs or product lines.
    4-7 Years: Partnering extensively across brand/marketing, PR, care, exec social and other teams.
    4-7 Years: Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Social Media and/or Public Relations function for a large corporation or agency.
    4-7 Years:
    Wireless or Mobile experience or heavy knowledge of the space is a plus
    Education: Bachelor's Degree - Communications, Marketing, Business, PR or related field

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
