Job Description:

Job Description We are seeking an IT Engineer to join our team You will design and develop solutions to complex application problems or network concerns. Responsibilities: Oversee the installation of operating systems, network systems, software, and hardware Monitor system operations to detect potential problems Implement network systems to support communication between all departments Provide technical direction and guidance to team members Provide quality assurance review of new and existing software products Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Ensures company standards are followed in the delivery of computing hardware and software systems. Includes responding to and updating of tickets entered by users based on problem resolution procedures attempted. Updates documented process and procedures as needed Maintain daily performance of computer systems. Walk customer through problem-solving process. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Clean up computers. Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Install computer peripherals for users. Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved. Qualifications: Previous experience in computer engineering, architecture, or other related fields Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Deadline and detail-oriented EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2-3 years experience with installation, maintenance and upgrading of PCs 2-3 years experience in networking including the knowledge of TCP/IP traffic flow (routers, switches, etc) 3 years experience of domain level networks including knowledge of IDs, credentials, file shares and permissions 2 years experience working with Exchange / Outlook user profile setup and connectivity. A and MCSE certifications are preferred. Position requires working from home with periodic onsite visits to clients.
