Job Description:

Responsibilities ? Drive technical requirements based on product requirements, own the hardware and software architecture for the implement and mobile base, and steer hardware and software development of robotics features to meet product roadmap deadlines. ? Serve as the SME on current state of the art for the full stack of robotics technologies and directly contribute in a hands-on manner to solving major technical challenges. ? Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and component availability, oversee selection of key components and technologies for sensing and actuation, own buy vs build decisions for the full software/hardware stack. ? Recruit, inspire, and mentor our team of robotics and controls engineers. Qualifications & Experience ? 5 years of experience shipping commercially available hardware. ? Ability to convey complex technical topics to teammates in plain English. ? Proven track record in building and leading a team with stellar robotics talent within a high growth startup environment.
