Job Description:
Cyber Security Engineer II needed for contract opportunity with
Yoh's client in Bellevue, WA. We are looking for a Cybersecurity
Engineer for the Compliance and Security Application tools support
position at its center with deeper data security, reporting, and
compliance understanding and experience in the Varonis Suite
solution. Job Responsibilities --- Assist team as a technical
administrator across the organization --- Complete research and
remediation of folder and share permission issues, to include
end-user management notification. --- Coordinate remediation
efforts with subject matter experts --- Engage with end-users to
provide assistance & training and troubleshooting where necessary
--- Manage the continuous transformation and improvement within
CAST tool suite, and assist business areas with completing requests
--- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business stakeholders
to assess and report on the data to monitored --- Work with the
team to create awareness campaigns --- Organize and communicate
with team and vendor to manage installs, upgrades and support ---
Ad hoc duties and accountabilities as directed by special projects
--- Support, manage, implement, and design compliance and security
tools infrastructure --- Support maintaining the healthy tool
agents (Linux or Windows OS) --- Collaborate and partner with
internal and external teams to deliver outstanding results for the
Company --- Track and report your work continuously (JIRA and
Confluence) --- Provide weekly status reports on your
projects/goals --- Attend team and company meetings --- Participate
in on-call rotation for CAST's application --- Escalation point for
junior engineers --- Provide detailed Root Cause and Post-incident
analyses --- Document processes, designs, configurations, lessons
learned, improvements, etc. --- Follow the T-Mobile's Incident and
Change Management procedure --- Complete assigned training promptly
--- Recognize problems and opportunities, evaluate, innovate and
automate to address --- Develop goals, objectives, operational
metrics, service catalogs, run books, development plans, and more
to ensure we continually improve our service delivery to internal
customers --- Effectively anticipates, enables, and supports
technology solutions for our customers Qualifications --- High
School Diploma; Some College --- Varonis certifications - VCA ---
CompTIA Security +, CISM, or CISSP certification --- Previous
experience managing, deploying and designing the Varonis solutions
--- 2+ years cybersecurity technical experience and/or experience
in a highly technical role --- US Citizen --- Must be On-shore
resource Experience Must Haves --- 2+ years cybersecurity technical
experience and/or experience in a highly technical role ---
Previous experience managing, deploying and designing the Varonis
solutions --- Experience working in project environments & working
to tight deadlines --- Server (Linux, NetApp, EMC and /or Windows)
or Security application Operations/Implementation experience ---
Understanding of PKI and experience on how to request, renew, and
apply SSL certificates at both the OS level and Web GUI levels ---
Reporting experience - designing, producing, scheduling - Splunk,
Microsoft Excel --- Knowledge of Compliance Regulations (SOX, PCI,
CPNI, USGCPI, CMMS, etc.) and experience providing attestations to
internal and external Auditors --- Exceptional customer service
skills (written and verbal) --- Experience with incident handling
for Security breaches --- Experience providing 24/7 support as part
of rotating team coverage --- Change management experience (ITIL)
--- Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills ---
Understanding of network and firewall connectivity ---
Understanding of NTFS and NFS permissions --- Understanding of
basic SQL commands --- Understanding of Active Directory, Windows
Servers and Services Great to Haves --- Experience in managing,
implementing and/or designing Storage technologies. --- Experience
with RabbitMQ and Apache SOLR --- One more certification for the
following applications: o Tripwire, Imperva, Splunk, ITIL, Agile,
Puppet --- Experience with Cloud-based solutions, preferably in
Application security --- Experience in infrastructure as code
technology - Preferably in Puppet, Bolt, Chocolatey, Jenkins ---
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Rubi, Shell
--- Application support experience (end-user support,
troubleshooting, etc.) --- Previous experience using JIRA and
Confluence for tracking project and day to day work Nice to Haves
--- Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to large
and small audiences --- Expertise in creating reports and
dashboards in one of the following tools: Grafana, PowerBI, Splunk,
