Our team just opened a new office in Bellevue, WA and this role has the option for full remote or hybrid (1 day a week or month) work, what ever you prefer!What You Will Be Doing

• Provide leadership while solving tactical issues. Develop best practices across teams, and contribute to improvement and delivery of services. Lead design reviews and retrospectives.
• Evangelize Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD
• Monitor the performance and reliability of our sites. Partner with other teams to investigate and resolve their performance issues related to scalability, response time, or resource usage.
• Collaborate closely with Dev teams on proper architectural decisions; communicate team priorities, system improvements, and changes to stakeholders, vendors and partners to support and deliver solutions for the business.Current Projects Include
  • Updating data pipeline and fanout services
  • Migration of critical services and data assets to cloud
  • Embracing GraphQL and NoSQL cache and fanout solutions
  • Evolution of culture and team to adopt DevOps practicesWhat You Need for this Position
    • 5+ years in an Enterprise environment (Infrastructure, Software)
    • 2+ years in an Architecture related role
    • 2+ years Managing teams
    • Either: Java, NodeJS, or Python
    • Experience/knowledge with: Apache, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
    • Docker / Kubernetes
    • AWS
    • Understanding of networking technologiesWhat's In It for You
