seeking a Product Support Engineering (PSO) Avionics Service
Engineer to drive development of hardware and software
functionality and investigate issues to drive improved reliability
within our ultra-fast drone delivery operations. This position is
accountable for maintaining exceptional technical reliability
across drone operations through close collaboration with design
engineering teams and driving continuous improvement cycles in
drone system architecture. Working in partnership with drone
operations and cross-functional engineering teams, you will deliver
engineering analysis and solutions that enhance system reliability
and performance. The ideal candidate will use data-driven insights
to identify improvement opportunities and lead their
implementation. As a key member of the PSO team, this avionics
hardware engineer will drive hardware and software design
initiatives, improve manufacturability, conduct failure analysis,
and enable scalability. The role demands hands-on involvement with
proven troubleshooting expertise, innovation within design
constraints, and rapid execution. You will leverage operational
data and customer feedback to champion system enhancements and
resolve field-discovered engineering challenges. Cross-functional
engineering competencies (mechanical, electrical, and software
development fundamentals) are required, along with excellent
technical communication and documentation capabilities. Success in
this role depends on your ability to distill complex system
functions into clear insights and communicate effectively with
stakeholders across all organizational levels. This position may
require a deemed export control license for compliance with
applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on
Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license
on your behalf. - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent - 2
years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems
and systems experience - Experience troubleshooting issues and root
cause analysis - Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite
Element analysis tools - Experience with prototyping and

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
