Job Description:
Drive the future of Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Supply Chain as a
Sr. Program Manager leading high-impact launches and retrofits
across our expanding industrial real estate portfolio. Join the
Industrial Launch & Execution team where you'll orchestrate
strategic initiatives for fulfillment centers and distribution
centers that power Whole Foods Market and Amazon Grocery Logistics
operations. We're seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to
lead cross-functional initiatives, change management, and
operational excellence across our growing grocery industrial
footprint. In this role, you'll exhibit a strong ownership mindset:
scoping projects, developing standardized processes, coordinating
execution, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
You'll influence teams spanning Operations, Start-Up, Construction,
Real Estate, Design, Engineering, Safety, Maintenance, Loss
Prevention, IT, and Food Safety to deliver new fulfillment center
and distribution center launches, plus complex ASRS and physical
retrofits that enable Amazon's grocery supply chain strategy. Key
job responsibilities - Manage complex, cross-functional programs
for new and existing grocery fulfillment center and distribution
center launches, plus ASRS and operational retrofits, delivering
ambitious goals across Operations, Construction, Real Estate, and
Design teams. - Lead end-to-end project execution for industrial
facilities ranging from 60k to 1M square feet with sophisticated
mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, ensuring seamless
transitions from construction to operations. - Develop and
standardize scalable processes and mechanisms that become the
blueprint for network-wide expansion, eliminating ambiguity and
reducing churn across the organization. - Orchestrate operational
readiness activities, coordinating across Senior Operations
Managers, Construction Managers, Reliability & Maintenance
Engineering, and Workplace Health & Safety to ensure successful
project launches. - Own program communication and stakeholder
management, presenting project status, metrics, and recommendations
to leadership teams while accelerating progress through crisp
decision-making and proactive issue escalation. - Influence
internal and external stakeholders without formal authority,
driving adoption of new processes and change management initiatives
across diverse teams. - Manage multiple concurrent priorities
simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and
ability to context-switch between tactical execution and strategic
planning. - Regional travel up to 25% to support on-site launches,
retrofits, and stakeholder engagement. A day in the life As a
Program Manager on the Industrial Launch & Execution team, your
days are dynamic and impactful. You'll review construction progress
on fulfillment centers, lead cross-functional meetings with
Operations, RME, and WHS teams to finalize operational readiness
plans for project turnover, and solve high-impact problems like
removing launch blockers or standardizing processes for
network-wide replication. You'll coordinate with Senior Operations
Managers, Construction Managers, Reliability & Maintenance
Engineering, and Workplace Health & Safety teams, analyzing data,
creating executive presentations, and occasionally traveling to
sites to understand challenges firsthand and build relationships
with operations teams. About the team The Industrial Launch &
Execution team is part of Worldwide Retail Growth and Development
is responsible for launching and maintaining Amazon's grocery
supply chain facilities, including fulfillment centers and
distribution centers, to support Whole Foods Market, Amazon Grocery
Stores, and Amazon Grocery Logistics. Our mission is to build a

high standards and speed. - Bachelor's degree in supply chain,
business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative
field - 5 years of program or project management experience - 5
years of leading large complex programs experience - Experience
owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating
results to senior leadership - Experience defining and executing
program requirements - Experience in complex problem solving, and
working in a tight schedule environment - 5 years of managing
stakeholders in cross-functional project experience - Experience
using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements -
Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering,
finance or related technical or quantitative field - 3 years of
change management experience - 3 years of driving process
improvements experience - Experience in manufacturing, production,
distribution logistics environments, retail, or grocery management
roles - Experience in one or more of the following areas:
construction or engineering project management, real estate

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
