Job Description:
We---re looking for an advertising rock star to join a highly
creative team that is breaking the rules of the wireless industry
with innovative advertising designed to drive growth through
customer acquisition.This position reports to the Sr. Manager,
General Market Brand and Advertising, and will work with the
national advertising team and agencies in the development,
production and execution of best-in-class customer acquisition
advertising in support of plan goals and objectives. In this role,
you would be responsible for some of the highest profile campaigns
of the year, including flagship device launches. Using your refined
communication skills, you will build effective working
relationships and collaborate with internal and external partners
that result in highly-branded, innovative, traffic-driving creative
in the marketplace. What you'll do in your role.Lead development of
advertising campaigns (major device launches, offers, and segments
[55, Military/Vets/First Responders, LGBTQ, etc]) and other
assigned initiatives; act as main point of contact on assigned
projects for internal customers and agency partners on program
execution.Lead execution of broadcast TV for assigned initiatives;
lead or oversee development of digital and mobile, print, radio,
OOH creative work for national initiatives.Work with internal and
external stakeholders to develop digital learning agendas and
execute and optimize dynamic digital campaigns leveraging audience
and insight-led messaging.Work closely with management on messaging
plans for assigned marketing initiatives. Brief and manage agency
partners on execution of advertising programs. For assigned
initiatives, lead campaign integration across all communications
vehicles.Manage visual campaign identities to establish consistent
look/tone/feel across multiple communications vehicles. Ensure
campaigns are produced on strategy, on time and within
budget.Manage the workflow assigned to agencies and use creative
judgment to control the quality of work produced by agencies and
provide feedback to agencies when appropriate. Troubleshoot and
resolve day-to-day issues or problems affecting quality and
delivery of advertising programs and make recommendations to
internal stakeholders on resolution of agency issues.Manage
integrated communication plan for major campaigns in collaboration
with peers from internal communications disciplines including
integrated marketing strategy, local, social, web, retail
merchandising, promotions, PR, etc.Establish/evolve processes and
educate other T-Mobile departments (within marketing and outside of
marketing) on advertising planning, processes and timing.Also
responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business
management as needed.Represent creative strategy and content to
leadership and internal stakeholders, gain approvals across
stakeholders.Present to/engage senior leadership and represent
feedback from leadership back to agency partners to refine
best-in-class creative.The experience you'll bring.Extensive
experience interacting with and presenting creative work to senior
leadership. Must demonstrate executive maturity and leadership
skills, and be able to clearly lead/guide creative across
integrated teams and external partnersMust exhibit strong
decision-making process and skills, and be able to support opinions
and decisions in clear and articulate mannerDemonstrate ability to
turn strategic input into actionable feedbackMust demonstrate
ability to work within ambiguity and be able to determine next
steps without specific directionsMust understand and guide the
creative process with expertise, in order to intelligently and
articulately communicate with agencies to translate the business
needs into creative solutions.Must have extensive experience with
broadcast and video production, including experience managing
shoots and post-production, working with agency producers and/or
production agencies.Must have extensive experience with digital
testing and optimization, as well as developing and executing
best-in-class digital creative.8 years advertising or marketing
communications experience within a consumer products company
(wireless or consumer tech preferred) or equivalent experience in
account management for an advertising agency.4 years broadcast
experience and in-depth print and online marketing
experience.Demonstrated experience working with and leveraging
consumer research (with internal and external teams).
EducationBA/BS Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
is required.OtherMust be able to travel up to 20% for creative
production, agency meetings, industry conferences, and
training.
