(ADON) position will assume overall responsibility for the

rest. Details Position Role and Responsibilities: - Serve as a
member of the leadership team for this organization - Provide
clinical and operational leadership for assigned clinical units and
programs - In conjunction with the Staffing Coordinator and Nursing
Supervisors, provide adequate staffing for units/programs to ensure
quality care provision that is also cost effective - In conjunction
with the Staffing Coordinator and finance office, assure accuracy
of payroll processing and approval - Ensure policies and procedures
are developed, reviewed regularly and implemented effectively - In
conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), identify
educational needs and assist in the development of in-service
programs for staff and annual training plans; facilitate
educational opportunities as needed - Understand regulatory and
licensing requirements; be available to assist with regulatory and
accreditation surveys and ensure regulatory compliance for assigned
areas of responsibility - Achieve favorable patient, staff and
provider satisfaction scores in areas of responsibility - Provide
information for inclusion in written performance evaluations for
all direct report staff and submit written performance evaluations
in accordance with policy requirements - Provide leadership and
counsel to clinical personnel to enhance staff development and
coordinate with Human Resources (HR) as appropriate - Participate
in staff selection and orientation of new personnel as appropriate
- Perform leadership rounds to allow for observation of clinical
performance of assigned team members - Participate and provide
leadership during organizational meetings/committees related to
clinical/operational practice - Serve as Manager-on-Call - In
conjunction with the Patient Advocate, receive, investigate and
make recommendations regarding patient complaints - Supervise
medical record documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and
compliance with licensing regulations and legal and ethical
standards - Develop plans, procedures, goals, strategies or
processes - Create methodologies for accomplishing goals - Direct
activities of others to accomplish goals - Implement
recommendations by coordinating persons and/or other resources - In
consultation and coordination with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
and Quality Director, assist with oversight and responsibility for
creating, implementing and monitoring quality improvement
initiatives for each area of assigned responsibility - Communicate
all pertinent clinical and administrative information to the CNO
and other members of the team as appropriate - Serve as a liaison
for community health partners, including but not limited to,
contracted service providers, other hospitals and service
providers, the police department, referral sources, schools of
nursing, etc - In the absence of the CNO, the ADON is responsible
for decision making and daily operations Agency Expectations: -
Adhere to all CBH policies and procedures - Maintain absolute
confidentiality of all information pertaining to patients,
families, and staff and adhere to all HIPAA rules - Display a
positive and professional image and attitude in all relationships
with patients, families, peers, and community partners - Serve as
an ambassador for CBH at all times - Demonstrate ongoing
responsibility for self-education - Participate in Performance
Improvement, Environment of Care, and other department/agency
meetings and committees as requested - Maintain patient and
personal safety regarding occupational health and safety - Perform

Experience/Skills: - Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice,
applicable rules and regulations and industry standards - Excellent
communication, organizational, and problem resolution skills -

verbal articulation - Data analysis - Ability to operate a clinical
unit adequately to ensure excellence in patient care delivery and
with fiscal and operational efficiency Qualifications: - Minimum
two (4) years behavioral health nurse management leadership
experience in similar or larger healthcare organization(s) -
Demonstrated ability to manage a budget and staff effectively in a
like setting - Demonstrated favorable results in patient, staff and
physician satisfaction through management experience in a
behavioral health environment - Proficient in the use of manual and
computer systems and database administration required to
operationally manage and report on the clinical operations for area
of responsibility - Experience and skill working in a union
environment with a track record of maintaining positive employee
relationships preferred - Interpersonal skills which align with
Cascades s values and behavioral standards - Specific knowledge of
behavioral health hospital regulations and accreditation
requirements Education: - Masters degree in nursing required
Licensure/Certification: - Current Washington state registered
nursing license without restrictions - Healthcare Provider BLS -
