Summary The Sr. Manager, Brand Insights is a 6-month temporary assignment that will be responsible for leading brand insights for MOD Pizza to drive marketing strategy and insights. Key Responsibilities * Lead all brand insights for the business to drive strategy and consumer led thinking * Launch and manage all stages of quantitative and qualitative consumer research studies to answer key business questions, including: research proposals, methodology design, operational execution, and analysis & reporting * Collect data, draw insights, and leverage research findings to provide guidance and make business-oriented recommendations to senior leaders, product/culinary and operations * Track and report on competitive landscape and industry trends * Develop and field primary research studies such as: brand tracker, attitudes & usage studies, pricing research, customer sentiment, marketing/ad research, customer segmentation, etc. * Create and formalize a new product testing framework to drive LTO and innovation testing, including concept testing, prototype testing, and market testing * Own and democratize the voice of the customer through post-purchase survey and passively collected customer service data * Supervise the daily operations of and lead strategic planning for the customer service team Basic Qualifications * Extensive quantitative and qualitative primary research experience, leading to deep understanding of consumers * Proven track record of generating, sharing and championing insights to various levels of the organization * High attention to detail as well as the ability to see the big picture * Ability to deal successfully with ambiguity, limited resources and time constraints * Strong data and analytical skills. Ability to analyze data and translate into meaningful insights * Engaging storyteller who can present findings that allow non-researchers to empathize with our consumers * Skilled at project management, vendor management, organizational skills and attention to detail is a requirement. Comfortable leading multiple projects against multiple (tight) timelines, at once * Strong communication and collaboration skills allowing for successful cross-functional relationships with internal teams, as well as external vendors * Thrive in a dynamic and fast-pasted environment; able to adapt to changing business needs Preferred Qualifications * 8-10 years of primary research experience, including some on the vendor side * Bachelor's or graduate degree in relevant field * Experience leading and developing a team * Background in food & beverage or retail a definite plus Physical Requirements Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects.
