Kimberly-Clark North America is looking for a smart, driven, analytical leader to join our fast-growing Amazon organization, someone with a proven track record delivering results who is comfortable and knowledgeable in areas outside core responsibilities (i.e. Sales, Supply Chain and Technology platforms). This position is complex and dynamic, has senior stakeholder visibility and is poised for continued growth. It supports all of K-C's portfolio of brands across multiple categories and channels within Amazon's ecosystem. Position Summary:

Senior Brand Manager leading marketing strategy and execution across all Kimberly-Clark brands at Amazon. Manager with 3 direct reports. Develops K-C Amazon strategy and sees it through from insights to execution to drive revenue and profit growth for all K-C categories while building the equity of our brands. Implements K-C brand strategies and tactics to seamlessly drive sales, finding the intersection of K-C brand strategies with Amazon's strategies. Manage relationships with brand stakeholders, category management, shopper insights and media and creative agencies. Ensure consistently exceptional execution and continuous improvement of our marketing investments while defining the roadmap for future success with this must-win customer.

Organizational Relationship:

Directly Reports to: VP - Amazon Team

Scope of Position:

Lead the marketing function for K-C's Amazon business, owning how K-C builds strategy, drives planning and execution, and measures results for our portfolio of brands. Understanding and influencing of K-C shopper marketing vision and capability roadmap to ensure alignment with Amazon team direction. Responsible for driving continuous optimization of media investments, defining measurement frameworks and KPIs and effectively managing relationships with agency partners and Amazon Advertising.

General Responsibilities:

  • Build Talent: Lead, coach and develop team of three (3) Brand Managers
  • E-commerce activist: Advocate on behalf of the customer within the organization to win now and in the future.
  • Ability to influence: Outstanding fact-based storytelling and professionalism when communicating to internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
  • Strategically develop and implement innovative marketing and merchandising programs to drive joint business plans and exceed sales and share objectives.
  • Drive collaboration between Amazon team, HQ sales team counterparts and brand teams to foster culture of learning and growth.
  • Strategically analyze and interpret eCommerce trends and consumer data to influence present and future year marketing plans and capability development
  • Provide brand development leadership and expertise as expanded member of headquarter- based marketing function
  • Own Amazon Advertising relationship and annual JBP agreements.

    General Expectations:
    • Strong ability to concisely communicate orally and in writing precisely to individuals and groups, and influence HQ partners, HQ Brand groups and stakeholders; consistent engagement in person with senior leaders across Amazon.
    • Deep understanding of Amazon marketplace dynamics and class of trade strategies, including new and emerging areas within the omnichannel space.
    • Deep understanding of Amazon Advertising tactics across the full funnel and how they can be effectively measured and continuously optimized to drive conversion and build brand equity.
    • Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations to communicate data driven insights recommendations for improvements and advancements.
    • Demonstrate and strategically apply consumer industry and cross-category knowledge and expertise. Strategically organize and develop monthly, quarterly and annual plans to drive weekly and monthly prioritizations of key development activities and projects
    • Render judgments and make timely decisions in alignment with business objectives. Independently set priorities and proactively identify issues, underlying problems, magnitude of situations and potential solutions and developing a plan of action.

      Education required:

      Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field.


      At least 7 years' progressive exempt status experience in marketing/brand management or equivalent in other business functions, preferably with experience building plans for Amazon. Proficient in business and financial/budget analysis with an understanding of omni-channel dynamics, insights, and profitability metrics. Demonstrated ability to understand brand strategy and transform those strategies into actionable plans.

      Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

      Masters in Business Administration. Expertise in Amazon Advertising across the full portfolio of their products and services. Extensive Amazon experience with passion for driving omnichannel growth is a must. Strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of Amazon's Fulfilment network and capabilities. Knowledge of Integrated Customer Business Planning Process and media planning. Able to inspire, motivate and lead teams to achieve outstanding results.
