We are the engine that powers the buying and selling of digital advertising across all aspects of our digital portfolio including our high-growth, global search engine, Microsoft Bing.The Global Sales Director role is part of the Small, Medium and Channel Partner sales (SMC) segment. - SMC is a rapidly expanding business for Microsoft Advertising and critical to the performance and health of the marketplace. Our goal is to enable Small and Medium Business (SMB) clients to grow and thrive on our platform, both directly and through partners. Through deep partnerships across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Science and Support we are accelerating revenue growth, increasing satisfaction, and enabling client success. This is an opportunity to join a people-first organization which encourages everyone to bring their whole self to work. - We operate with passion, integrity, accountability, and respect for our customers, partners, and colleagues. - -This newly created Sales Leadership role is part of the SMC Leadership Team and is responsible for leading a global team of high performing SMB Sales Managers and their account teams. - This role which will accelerate the performance of SMB's highest potential clients. - Your team will deliver success for our clients and help them realize their business goals through at-scale account management, identification of opportunities, and ensuring our clients are enabled across the breadth of Microsoft Advertising's products and platform offerings. This role requires deep partnership across an array of internal partners to enable global consistency, best practice sharing and charting the next phase of growth. This role includes sales leadership, creating sales strategies that maximize the team resources and engagement with key clients. You will create clarity, generate energy, and deliver success as a leader of this global sales team. - You will model, coach and care for your manager team while empowering and enabling them to manage the day-to-day team execution. - You will develop a 1-3 year strategic plan to grow this segment including understanding the resources needed to drive this growth and the investments into operational excellence and infrastructure.The Global Sales Director's success in this role is measured by team feedback, global sales quota attainment and scorecard target performance.
