know the roleJob Title: Manager, ArtJob Summary: The Manager, Art
reports to the Sr. Manager, Art & Creative and will be responsible
for the oversight and leadership of the Game Studio Art personnel
and drive the art production for The Pok--mon Company International
(TPCi) game products. The Manager, Art's primary responsibility
will be to manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of internal
artists including staffing, managing career development,
performance assessment and reviews. In partnership with the Sr.
Manager and Principal Creative you will help guide and develop the
vision, visual direction, processes, and best practices for the Art
Department. You will work closely with producers and
cross-discipline managers to ensure resources, priorities and
tasking are in alignment with schedules and milestone
deliveries.FLSA Classification (US Only): ExemptPeople Manager:
YesWhat you'll do Supervise, review, and approve art through all
stages of production to ensure assets meet high quality standards,
consistency, and technical accuracy.Collaborate with Production,
Design, Engineering, and Stakeholders to scope, prioritize, plan
and schedule milestone objectives and sprint deliveries.Conduct
1-on-1 meetings with direct reports to cultivate career growth,
align with team goals, provide coaching and promote healthy
morale.Gain a high-level view of the project needs, anticipate
issues and proactively solve problems.Proactively engage in regular
multi-disciplinary meetings and effectively communicate status and
updates to Stakeholders and Senior Leadership.Serve as mentor,
leader, and manager for a growing team of artists; present a solid
example as to leadership and performance within the company. What
you'll bring 6+ Years as an Art Manager, Art Director, or Lead
Artist; management experience is highly valued.Shipped at least 3
titles in the F2P (Free to Play) space; additional AAA (Triple A)
PC or console shipped titles are also preferred.Ability to provide
concise and constructive written and verbal feedback.Experience
with a range of industry standard art production tools such as
Maya, 3DS Studio Max, Substance Painter/Designer, ZBrush, Photoshop
and Illustrator.Familiar with project management tools such as
JIRA, Shotgrid, Confluence and Perforce.Proven track record for
leading and mentoring teams with a growth mindset.How you'll be
