What you will do-The Senior Program Manager, Operations assists in management of multiple engineering projects, prioritizes tasks, and assigns team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and project deadlines are met. The Senior Program Manager will evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. This individual will lead engineering projects; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays. In addition, this person will manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.Additional Responsibilities: Creates and maintains appropriate program documentation (e.g. charter, roadmap, benefits map, etc.) to meet business goals and program objectives Coordinates with partners/end users to deliver value to business through opportunity identification, solution delivery, and ongoing support Responsible for program budget estimation, monitoring, and attainment Communicates and sets expectations across divisions, functions, 3rd party vendors, consulting partners, project teams, and stakeholders depending on program needs Creates and maintains a program risk assessment to ensure program risks are identified and closed Responsible for portfolio resource planning including work load allocation and capacity planning to help determine project sequencing in the program Work with constituent Project Managers or Associates to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the organization's business objectives Assess trade-offs for changes to project scope, schedule, and costs that impact the program and related projects Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, training, mentoring and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure efficiency, and boost morale Acts as an escalation point; drives collaboration with program and project team members to resolve conflicts, project issues, and deviations and drives them to resolution. Seeks out waysto continually improve processes from lessons learned, bench marking, community discussions, etc. to meet or exceed organizational and customer needs May be responsible for managing project managers and project personnel, as well as lead indirect resources Coordinate the activities of 1 or more exempt and/or non-exempt employees What you need- Bachelor's Degree required 10 years of relevant work experience required Previous relevant work experience within Supply Chain - highly preferred Master's Degree- preferred PgMP certification or equivalent such as MSP- preferred Experience with Lean/Kaizen events - preferred $120,300 - $266,000 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program).
