Job Description Covestic is looking for multiple Project
Managers to support a client---s enterprise-scale network device
discovery program. The objective of the program is to identify each
configuration item/device in the commercial network, and the group
that owns it and store the information in a ServiceNow CMDB
database. The PMs will help plan, track, and manage the work being
done along with escalating issues that are impacting progress and
maintaining alignment across workstreams. Each workstream will have
multiple PMs and consist of 14 individual resources.
Responsibilities: Manage onboarding process for new team members
and look for process improvements to shorten ramp-up time Align
with other teams/squads on which group is working on specific areas
of the network Promote lessons learned, best practices, and process
improvements to other PMs and team members Determine and
communicate daily assignments and priorities to team members
Conduct daily stand-up meetings and weekly status meetings to
maintain alignment within the team and across the other 3 teams
Track common metrics to show overall progress and communicate
status to executives and stakeholders Capture, track, and escalate
issues and risks impacting team execution Maintain schedule showing
projected timeline and progress to baseline Required Hard Skills
and Experience: 3 years of recent experience managing IT network
technology, operations, and/or infrastructure projects in an
enterprise environment Experience working with Network Engineer
resources Experience with ServiceNow Experience with CMDB
capabilities Strong Project Management skills --- highly organized,
excellent communicator, good at planning and scheduling, stay on
top of risks, clearly understands project objectives and critical
path Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
in parallel Experience communicating with and working with various
stakeholders, IT leaders, and executives Demonstrates strong
initiative, self-starter, and high attention to detail Desired Hard
Skills: Prior Wireless Telecom experience Soft Skills:
Self-directed and able to work with minimal direction Logical with
good problem-solving skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
team environment Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a
technical field (CompSci, MIS, Engineering, etc.) Company
