The team youll be part of

Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

What you will learn and contribute to

+ Manage effort to define test strategy and execute all technical aspects for NPI (New Product Introduction) in support of 5G/4G infrastructure releases/solutions introduced into Customer Lab and field environments. Interface directly with customer at engineering and management levels. Lead role with overall technical responsibilities for NPI project / assignment.

+ Lead technology engagement from Customer Intervention Support team perspective. Provide leadership for Technology evolution, Product & Services, KPI and Network Performance while interfacing with the customer, engineering, and performance teams Develop strong relationship and drive high customer satisfaction. Share project experience, implement best practices, and interlock with different functions in Nokia. Represent the customers requirements back to Nokia teams.

+ Coordinate technical status updates to Customer

+ Provide technical guidance to engineering staffs

+ Serve as technical point of contact to R&D and Global NPI

+ Develop Test strategy including defining proper test environment (Nokia, Customer lab and field

+ Create test plans, procedures, and implementation approach. Direct engineers performing tests

+ Analyze test results and present to Customer

+ Provide subject matter expert support to the customer program management team

+ Provide on-site and remote support during customer activities based on availability and demand

+ Lead technical investigations on customer critical issues and provide guidance to customer programs

+ Provide in-depth technical analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting support to the project team

+ Prioritize customer issues as input to R&D, ensuring fault corrections are delivered according to project needs

+ Build and maintain close relationship with Customer Technical teams

Your skills and experience

+ Solid technical background with ability to interact effectively with variety of organizations

+ Strong knowledge of 5G architecture, 5G air interface and hands-on experience with the ability of troubleshooting complex performance and stability issues

+ Cooperate proactively with management, with willingness to take ownership of critical issues and drive to resolution.

+ Results orientated with strong analytical and problem resolution skills

+ Ability to work systematically to understand and resolve complex issues

+ Minimum of 7-10 years with Nokia product family technical management function
