Tutta Bella's Culinary Innovation Hub is looking for a new Food
Safety and Quality Assurance Manager. To be successful in this
role, you will need to be passionate about maintaining high quality
standards in ready to heat and eat foods including salads, pasta
dishes, and of course pizza! You will be driven to enforce,
oversee, and support food safety compliance for everything we

big and small. The Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager
is a leader within our Culinary Innovation Hub team, which produces
our lineup of signature salads, homemade ready-to-heat entrees,
signature take-n-bake Neapolitan pizzas, and our award winning
tiramisu dessert. These items are available in grocery stores
across the Puget Sound including QFC, Fred Meyers, and Costco. The
FSQA Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing the
achievement of and maintaining our grant of inspection from the
USDA, as well as ensuring compliance with FDA and WSDA
requirements. This role is key to meeting our high standards for
quality, consistency, and employee and consumer safety.The FSQA
Manager also supervises and provides direction for our FSQA
Supervisor and supports them in overseeing the work of our FSQA
Techs. WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:Starting annual salary of $115,000 -
$125,000, FLSA-exempt positionEligibility for our performance bonus
program, starting with your first full interval of

brand and company. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Detailed oriented with a
desire to play a driving role in a rapidly growing startup food
production division of a company with 20 years of success.3+ years
of experience in food safety and quality assurance in the food
production industry.HACCP, PCQI, and SQF certificationsExperience
with creating, enforcing, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that comply with USDA, FDA,
and other relevant food safety and quality control
requirements.Clear communicator who thrives in a team environment
and has experience leading teams of both peers and
subordinates.Comfortable with supporting production goals while
ensuring food safety and quality standards.Spanish language
proficiency is a big plus. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Essential Duties
Include:Work closely with the Plant Manager to ensure that
production is meeting all required food safety and quality
requirements, including training and troubleshooting.Support and
supervise the FSQA Supervisor in leading the FSQA Techs and driving
safety and quality initiatives.Create and enforce Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMPs).Oversee and execute product traceability testing and
actions.Oversee and execute product recalls.Oversee and conduct
root-cause analysis and determine corrective actions.Create and
enforce HACCP/USDA verification activities.Oversee compliance with
Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) at all stages of
production.Oversee and execute environmental monitoring programs
including testing and swabbing.Ensure compliance with workplace
safety requirements including OSHA and WSHA.Promote food safety
culture throughout the Culinary Innovation Hub.Assist with employee
training and education in relevant areas.Additional Duties and
Expectations:Maintain a safe and clean working environment.Support
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system processes.Arrive for each
scheduled shift on-time and ready to work with proper food safety
and safety equipment.Report barriers to compliance goals to the
Plant Manager and VP of the Fresh Division.Contribute to a working
environment where everyone is valued and respected.Remain coachable
and eager to grow and learn.Support the work of other Culinary
Innovation Hub teams to ensure that production and shipping can be
completed on schedule.Take a proactive approach to work and be
self-motivated.Have a willingness and ability to enforce rules and
