Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care experience
required License: WA RN or Compact License required Certifications:
BLS required; CCM or ACM preferred Must-Have: Inpatient acute care
experience is required and is a hard stop. Behavioral health
hospital experience is not applicable. Description: The Care
Manager RN position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in
an inpatient acute care setting. Floating between units is required
to meet facility needs. Candidates must possess current BLS
certification. A WA RN or Compact License is mandatory. CCM or ACM
certification is preferred. Candidates will be working with a
patient population that includes neonates, adolescents, infants,
adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The average daily census in the
care management unit is approximately 300. Patient ratios during
the day shift average 30 patients. Experience with Milliman
Guidelines or InterQual Criteria is preferred. This role includes
care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and
managing plans of care. Candidates must have a reliable form of
transportation. Scheduling needs of the facility must be met;
special requests may not be accommodated. Candidates should secure
housing before accepting the position. All compliance items must be
completed promptly. The candidate will be required to gather
supervisory references covering one year within the last three
years. The candidate should be open to the possibility of permanent
