Hematology/Oncology Physician Job Details Location: Everett, WA 98201 (Washington healthcare jobs) Employment Type: Locum Tenens Physician Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Call Coverage: 1 in 6 weekend hospital call (24-hour call, rounding on Saturday and Sunday); 1 in 2 weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend call for established clinic patients only (phone only, very low census) Patient Encounters: 10–14 per shift Department Beds: 6 Estimated Hours per Week: 36 Shift Duration: 12 hours (varied) Start Date: April 15, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $12,600 – $13,500 Hematology/Oncology Physician Qualifications Board Certification in Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology (required) Minimum 1 year of experience as a hematology/oncology physician Fellowship training in hematology/oncology Ability to take call as scheduled (required) Experience in new clinic environments and community healthcare settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive hematology and oncology care to new and established patients Help establish and grow a new hematology/oncology clinic in Everett, WA Perform hospital rounding and manage inpatient consults during call coverage Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotations as scheduled Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters Apply now to join our healthcare team and make a difference in Washington's hematology/oncology community!
