We are currently recruiting to fill the following position:Job DescriptionPRIDE Industries Job Description Job: ITS-Food Service Worker Job Code: W82 - PR-ITS Food Svc Worker HR Title Group: Inclusive Talent Solutions Salary Grade: N14 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Approval Date: September 2021SUPERVISES: There are no direct reports with this position. POSITION SUMMARY: Under close supervision the Food Service Worker prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. Employees in this job class utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. This job class requires the ability to assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirementsTYPICAL DUTIES: 1. *Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. 2. *Weighs and measures designated ingredients. 3. *Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. 4. *Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures. 5. *Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.6. *Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment. 7. *Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. 8. *Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.9. *Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor. 10. *Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. 11. *Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. 12.
