Ingredient Merchandising Coordinator - 6 Months
REMOTE
Schedule: 7:30 to 4:30 PST
should be in PST time zone(Washington,Oregan,Idaho)
Key responsibilities include entry of transactional data into the
appropriate operating systems, record maintenance for both purchase
and sales, completion of the transactional piece of transportation
logistics, assisting the Merchandiser with freight negotiations,
handling Customer / Supplier requests & issues. You will also
coordinate with the Accounting Department to insure timely
processing of invoices / payments, reconciliation of receipt
discrepancies and reconciliation of invoice discrepancies.
Experience-Education (Required):
" Associate Degree and 3 plus years experience from
Manufacturing/Distribution, Warehousing, Logistics or Freight
Management environment.
Experience - Education (Preferred):
Bachelor s Degree and 3 plus year of experience from Agricultural
background desirable.

" Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel, access, and
outlook.

TLLY, TLST, TLGM, TLGV
- Ordering all inbound materials either internal or
external
- Dispatch and schedule all transloading and product
delivery
- Track and maintain inventory levels that allow for a balance
between spot sales and mitigation of rail demurrage
- Weekly, monthly, and year end reconciliation of
inventory
- Maintain and manage a matrix of freight options and rates
WCS
- Manage all (rail and container) inbound scheduling, tracking,
application, inventory, and dispatch for all WCS locations
Rail PNW
- Order and manage all PNW rail orders with suppliers to all
locations (including transload sites, PAN Mills, and JV
destinations)
- Trace and manage shipments to ensure a revolving inventory for
spot and contract applications (PNW Logistics Sheet)
- Work with corporate logistics on any rail issues such as:
movement, bad orders, overweight, and other operational
issues
- Demurrage:
- Work with accounting for invoice payment
- Check with transload sites to confirm placed and released
dates
- Set up invoices to charge back demurrage if it applies such as
EPL direct ship orders
- Momentum Admit contact for any issues within the application
and approves/denies new user requests
B2B - Millrun
- Responsible for all coordination and dispatch off the ADM/Grain
Craft FOB contracts
- Maintain all purchase and sales contract applications
Quad
- Complete functions to supplier client marketing plant such
as:
- Billing of rail cars via RSI s website
- Generates and sends customs invoices for rail cars and trucks
to customs broker
- Maintain all purchase and sales contracts, scheduling, and
contract applications
- Work with corporate logistics on any rail issues such as:
movement, bad orders, and other operational issues
- Responsible for all coordination and dispatch of direct ship
trucks to Idaho and Utah
- Maintain and manage a matrix of truck freight options and
rates
Other
- SmartSoft Super User
- Maintain and manage excel file containing information on all
customers in trade area
- Print and mail all sales and purchase contracts for all
locations weekly (Wednesday)
B2B Ground Corn
- Responsible for all back-to-back (B2B) support (dispatch,
coordination, tracking, invoice, etc.) on all commodities in trade
area
Rail
- Trace and manage shipments to maintain a suitable balance of
inventory
Other
- Maintain and manage excel file containing information on all
customers in trade area
- Print and mail all sales and purchase contracts for all
locations weekly (Wednesday)
- Generate sales and purchase contract recap for all locations
weekly (Mondays)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Uniformity and evolution of Excel worksheets used to dispatch
trucks, track and order rail, and plan for replacement for each
transload site so they are identical in appearance and
function
- Contract application and maintenance (purchase and sales)
SmartSoft sales contracts need to reflect live date
- Close sales contract when SO is ship confirmed
- Close direct ship contract once exported into E1
- Update filing and record retention to meet compliance with
corporate policy, which is located in The Source
- Similar in scope to other GIT office
- Generation of a freight matrix database that allows for
arbitrage and utilization of backhauls, kept in S-Drive with
freight rates and quotes
- Housekeeping of S-Drive files
- Creating, streamlining, and updating of training
materials
- Work with Accounts Payable on any invoice issues or
discrepancies
- Work with Credit on customer accounts such as setting up new
customer
- Work with Credit if there are late accounts, communicate with
customers if they have questions on statements, invoice due dates,
etc.
- New customer set-ups, or account re-activation
- Coordinators with marketing plants should be familiar with the
Momentum system a web portal that provides client vendors to
complete contract transparency and the means to interface shipment
details within Purina Animal Nutrition and SmartSoft. Contracts
entered in SmartSoft for GIT business will be displaced on Momentum
web application for suppliers.
