Job Description:
The Legal Compliance team is looking for a Sr. Communications
Manager to bring its communications to the next level! This
position will report directly to a VP+ and support the Compliance
leadership team in communicating to a wide variety of audiences,
both internal and external. In this role, you'll own the
responsibility for transforming legal communications into
buzzworthy messages that are clear, concise, engaging, and
impactful for the intended audience. To succeed in this role, you
will use your experience as a communications professional to
translate important compliance messages and concepts into
meaningful presentations that "pop" and deliver the intended
message in a clear and concise format. You need to be
self-motivated and possess a growth mindset to continually learn
and evolve with the rest of the Compliance organization.

Responsibilities
Develop internal communications strategy across the Legal
Compliance organization that contributes to an enterprise culture
of compliance.
Translate words into powerful and impactful concepts, to convey
legal and compliance messaging in a straightforward and actionable
way.
Create and maintain communications formats and templates, and a
repository of messages and information on current topics, for ready
use as needed
Draft and produce highly effective communications in a variety of
formats, including blogs, emails, PowerPoint presentations and
videos, on behalf of the leadership team for executive briefings,
committee presentations, team meetings and events, and external
meetings with third parties and government agencies.
Support department leadership on key communications materials,
including production of video and audio recordings.
Personal Characteristics

Qualifications
7+ years developing and managing complex communication plans in a
corporate environment.
Prior experience working with a legal team is a plus, but not
required.
Experience in other areas such as web marketing, social media,
public relations, corporate communications or reputation management
is a plus.
Results driven, strong organizational skills, history of
anticipating issues and the aptitude to be strategic, proactive and
assertive.
Strong ability to productively partner across the company and with
different teams.
Keen understanding of audience and tone, ready to craft
communications aimed at a variety of different audiences.
A good networker, driving cross-functional collaboration on
messaging that may impact multiple stakeholders.
An influencer, skilled at driving results both directly and
indirectly through others.
Proficient using MS Office, with demonstrated expertise in
PowerPoint and Visio (graphic design experience a real plus).
Bachelor's degree required
