Job Description:

A Senior Applications Support Analyst has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in an application support discipline (Varicent Sales Performance Compensation Systems, Middleware, Cloud Platforms, and etc..). A Senior Analyst is able to work independently on escalated issues and prioritizes, investigates and resolves them with zero to minimal guidance from others. This role functions as a technical lead of their application and team. Occasionally a Senior Analyst will be given opportunities to lead teams and projects to resolve complex technical issues and create new processes.ResponsibilitiesProvide Subject Matter expertise in all operational application tasks involving the Varicent SPM commission applications, Middleware and Cloud platforms.Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple complex and critical issuesProtect and ensure stability of the multiple compensation systems as well as maintain the integrity of the data they containCoordinate and prioritize all activities, including testing, implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, bug fixes and compliance testing as necessaryAvailable to provide 24x7 rotational support as needed for operational issuesBuilding of new processes to improve system stability, availability, performance and reliabilityAssist in determining the impact and root cause analysis of operational issues and provide input into their resolution via data extraction and quantificationAssist in testing of new software and upgradesProactively review and communicate changes to infrastructure and capabilities, assessing the riskConduct self-directed investigations into data irregularities and proactively identify and resolve potential system issuesIdentify sources and trends of technical problems to prevent future occurrencesServe as an escalation point for difficult problems and complex inquiries.Resolve day-to-day support issues ensuring effective and timely resolutionResolve conflict and trace issuesTake ownership of issues, through rot cause analysis and resolutionQualificationsCommissions domain experience required (4-6 years preferred).Strong knowledge of relational database design and supportExperience in Varicent SPM applications and AWS Cloud platformsSystem Analysis experience in the support/operation of a large enterprise software system, preferably in a wireless environmentExperience in testing, quality and change management methodologiesPrevious experience in a 24x7 systems support capacity4 year degree (in Information Technology related field preferred) or equivalent work experienceCompany ProfileAs America''s Un-carrier, T-Mobile USA, Inc.
