Company: Packaged Goods / Food / Beverage, Bellevue, WA Remarks: We are currently looking for a VP of Information Technology to work in our Bellevue, WA corporate office. The VP of IT is to direct, plan, organize and control all activities of the IT organization, and is accountable for defining and delivering IT strategy and capabilities across the company. Reporting to the Sr. VP of Operations, the VP of IT will be responsible for giving oversight and direction to IT and business leaders on strategy and standards. The VP of IT is a key contributor to the Company 's strategy and planning process and will be responsible both for IT operations and for technology and digital innovation. It is critical for this role to build strong and productive relationships with all business unit leaders, acting as a true partner and making IT a business enabler.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • As a member of the senior management team, make a key contribution to the formulation of the company's business and digital strategies.
  • Proactively advise the senior management team on the emerging technologies and digital trends that are most relevant to the company's goals and evolving needs. Leadership
    • Develop an IT vision, strategy, and a roadmap, and lead the IT team and its business partners in effective execution.
    • Facilitate and lead the selection process and implementation of business-critical systems, including ERP.
    • Ensure, on an ongoing basis, that current and planned IT investments and solutions are aligned with company business objectives.
    • Monitor IT operational budgets that meet objectives and constraints.
    • Develop and execute reporting and analytics that enables company business leaders to make data-based decisions.
    • Build strong relationships with business leaders across the company, and develop a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges and opportunities.
    • Implement the most appropriate and effective IT organizational design to support and engage with the business. Team Development
      • Foster a culture of innovation, transparency and accountability in IT.
      • Ensure that the organization has strong systems analysis and project management skills, and the ability to execute business-critical projects.
      • Develop and maintain a plan that provides for succession and continuity in key roles. IT Operations
        • Provide PPSF employees with a modern work experience with top quality, consistently available IT systems and tools.
        • Direct the design and planning, of the computing infrastructure that supports the company's operations and business applications.
        • Maintain oversight of all IT projects, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored and reported.
        • Lead the design of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
        • Establish and enforce written IT policies, processes, portfolio management, development standards and methodologies.
        • Monitor the industry for developments in IT operations; evaluate relevant new tools and service management frameworks.
        • Compile and review records to determine department productivity, quality of output and cost of service. develop methods to continually improve results. Requirements

            • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation and business growth through innovation and the implementation of technology.
            • Possesses solid knowledge in emerging technologies, preferably in the seafood industry, and the ability to apply these in the service of the company's key business goals.
            • Experience leading complex, major change initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management. Experiences and Competencies
              • Bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Master of Science or MBA is preferred or equivalent experience.
              • 15 years of career experience in technology, including a minimum of 8 years in a leadership position, preferably in the seafood processing or food manufacturing industry.
              • Experience leading the selection and implementation of ERP systems
              • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation and business growth through innovation and the implementation of technology.
              • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
              • Successful track record of delivering enterprise solutions which automate processes and workflows built upon a deep understanding of Enterprise Systems, Business Intelligence, Sales and Service solutions, IT operations, and Digital IT strategy.
              • Ability to travel domestically according to business needs, perhaps as much as 20-40% of time in some periods.
