Niantic is seeking an experienced developer that will help us build the platform that content and application developers will use to create outstanding AR experiences. You will work with other teams across Niantic to define, build, and integrate components that make up our AR Platform on unique hardware.
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Design and build key components of our app development platform.
  
• Collaborate with other team members, product managers, QA, and other departments to ensure code and technology meets internal standards.
  
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
  
• Collaborate with teammates by reviewing their designs and code.
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • A BSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent technical degree or equivalent experience.
    
  • Demonstrated ability to ship commercial consumer applications and to support them in production.
    
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management, partner teams, and peers to drive features.
    
  • 5+ years of professional experience working with C++/Java/C# or equivalent language.

    • 
      
    • You have worked with 3D concepts like meshes, surfaces, computer vision.
      
    • You have shipped projects built on Android or an embedded Linux Kernel.
      
    • You have developed SDKs or APIs used by 3rd party developers.
      
    • You have experience iteratively delivering software via Agile methodologies.
