This is your opportunity to provide a fresh perspective to our ever-changing industry.Position Summary and Project Details:We're looking for a backend developer to work on Samsung eCommerce services and tools to build new product features & services working with various stakeholders such as Product, UX and engineering. Building tools to identify performance bottlenecks of the services, testing and resolving those issues to help achieve high performance, reliability and scalability. The engineer should be passionate about learning technologies, solving hard problems and delivering excellent work.General Duties include but are not limited to:--- Design and develop features for Samsung eCommerce applications in Node.Js and other technologies such as Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS etc.,--- Collaborate with experienced engineers, product and UX specialists to design and bring innovative features.--- Write performant code, Build/leverage tools to improve and drive reliability, scalability of the services--- Enjoys working on projects with other team members.--- Written and verbal communication skills--- Excited to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.--- Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills.--- Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple project phases at the same time--- Strong communicator, both written and verbal.--- Interested to learn across multiple open source technologies including Node.Js, Redis, Postgres, Kubernetes, nginx, Jenkins, and cloud services.Qualifications:--- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.Internship Eligibility:--- Must be enrolled in an accredited University--- Proper work authorization--- Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA--- Attend New Hire Orientation on first day**Role and Responsibilities****Skills and Qualifications*** Please visit Samsung membership (https://account.samsung.com/membership/pp) to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
