Together, we won't stop!Within IT Risk and Compliance (Enterprise Technology Services), we evaluate and communicate technology risk, provide solutions to mitigate those risks, and support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives via risk management oversight and reporting. - We are committed to building a better, more effective, and more efficient organization by driving compliance innovation and encouraging stakeholders to benefit from automated processes and streamlined systems.We reduce operational and technical risks of IT SOX compliance by enhancing and overseeing SOX processes across the Enterprise Technology Services organization (ETS). -We provide leadership, stakeholder engagement and alignment between business, technology and compliance by developing and governing system data flows supporting T-Mobile's business processesWe drive the execution of Process & Data Management by leading Enterprise capabilities, standardizing critical data elements, defining data quality, establishing data lineage, and identifying operational controls to maintain integrity. - We enable data-driven executive decision-making by maintaining an organizational IT Risk Management model, aligning the model with enterprise-wide software development initiatives.The Manager, Portfolio Management Risk & Compliance will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with others that are passionate about innovation, strategy, and compliance. - -This is a highly visible role requiring partnership with leaders across multiple business functions such as Business Architecture, Risk Management, Accounting & Finance, Financial Controls Group (FCG) and Technology. - This role is responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and successfully implementing the ETS Risk & Compliance strategy across the organization. - This leader will possess the ability to drive program management, data management, training, reporting and analytics for the organization. - As a key advisor, you will be addressing business and technical issues that impact both current and future processes and their supporting systems and data.The Manager, Portfolio Management Risk & Compliance will work with IT Risk and Compliance leadership to build and support a high-performing, best-in-class team able to effectively partner, apply critical thinking to challenges and situations. - In addition, they support the broader Risk & Compliance organization in achieving the organizations goals. -The right candidate will drive the adoption of new portfolio capabilities and practices to elevate T-Mobile's risk and compliance program. This role requires the ability to effectively navigate the organization, work cross-functionally with IT teams and key stakeholders, utilize analytical skills in dissecting complex problems, and deliver clear recommendations to reduce risk and increase compliance.Manage a team of 8 comprised of technology solution managers, program managers and analysts plus contract staff. - Demonstrate the ability to empower the team, establish clear expectations and provide employee coaching and feedback.Develop and manage risk and compliance programs from beginning to end including scope, timeline, resource allocation and program / project execution. - Identify and manage program dependencies and critical paths while maintaining accurate program plans, milestones tasks and program health. - Act as an escalation point for stakeholders to manage risk and develop mitigation plans to ensure program success.Continue the development of Risk and Compliance training program instilling a risk and compliance mindset across the organization.Drive the continued maturation of the Risk and Compliance data management framework (metadata management).Develop and mature reporting and analytics capabilities for the Risk and Compliance organization. - Partner with stakeholders to provide actionable insights through data modeling and analysis.Act as a liaison with business and technology teams providing support and ensuring the organizations mutual success.Experience in Risk Identification and Risk Management, Change Management and Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented environment. - Play an active role in seeking development opportunities for the team.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or Computer Science.5+ years' work experience in Program Management, Training and Development, IT Compliance, Auditing, Business Intelligence or Data AnalysisAbility to work cross-functionally with IT teams and key stakeholders, utilizing analytical skills in understanding a complex IT environment, dissecting complex problems, and delivering clear recommendations to reduce risk and improve operational controls.Understanding of information management concepts such as the difference between business and technical metadata, data governance, data lifecycle, data analysis techniques.Strategic acumen and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans. Analytically minded with the ability to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw conclusions from it. - Strong attention to detail. - Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.Proven skill in accelerating change; forward looking. Assertive and able to influence across all levels, including influencing others without direct position power. Confident in his or her technical knowledge; unwavering when challenged yet knows when it's appropriate to flex. Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong business acumen and demonstrated sound business judgment. Organizational agility and the ability to read the subtle nuances of a situation and react/plan accordingly. Ability to effectively prioritize projects and manage available resources.
