Job Description:

The Senior Manager will lead a team of OEM Managers responsible for the overall business relationships with T-Mobile's strategic hardware OEM supplier partners supplying Internet of Things (IoT) and Home Internet Connected Products (i.e routers, cameras, trackers, wearables, etc..) for both T-Mobile and Metro brands. Specifically, this position will lead and take actions with the team to monitor and manage supplier performance and all key partnership aspects, as well as delivering positive results for T-Mobile while also maintaining supplier health. The Senior Manager will also lead and maintain all negotiations and actions with numerous partners to maintain the general purchasing agreement and deliver funding/support for all commercial marketing plans supporting IoT and Home Internet Connected Products. This position will also be accountable to ensure that all internal and external contractual commitments are met and delivered on time and in alignment with T-Mobile internal policies/operations, including marketing programs, sales proof of performance, invoicing and settlements/collections.At least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GEDT-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.10 years in telecommunications, consumer electronics or related industry experience and skills8-10 years in Vendor Management, Product Management or Supply Chain experience and skillsStrong knowledge of mobile industry suppliers, products and positioningStrong leadership skills with prior supervisory experience leading business or product teamsStrong communications skills with cross functional teams and at senior leadership levelsExcellent analytical and business skillsExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsPrior business negotiations experience or knowledge preferredAbility to communicate and handle challenging conversations under stressful timelinesAdvanced Microsoft skills (especially Powerpoint)Oversee and lead all general business and day-to-day activities associated with T-Mobile's overall OEM relationships with Internet of Things (IoT) and Home Internet product lines.Lead key discussions and communications supporting any strategic partnership frameworks between T-Mobile and the OEM partners.Coordinate and lead routine business reviews with both T-Mobile and OEM senior leadership to drive improvement and action in support of all internal T-Mobile programs and teams.Be a lead negotiator and closer for all marketing investment funding (MDF) with supplier in support of T-Mobile and Metro quarterly marketing plans to ensure all promotions received maximum and timely funding support.Lead all negotiations and associated actions for all master purchasing and operational agreements with suppliers.Partner with internal D&SC leadership and their teams to address supply issues and take actions with partners as needed to support T-Mobile's Device & Supply Chain and Marketing interests.Support T-Mobile's Logistics and Support teams by being a lead negotiator and ensuring supplier adherence.Drive the contract review and execution process for all OEM partner contracts, both internally and externally, ensuring best terms and leadership/legal reviews completed on time.Ensure all IoT and Home Internet product supplier contracts adhere to T-Mobile's financial quarterly closing processes, with performance validations and payments being received according to company guidelines and budgets.
