Description: - A Quality Assurance Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Bellevue. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 3-5 years" experience and a bachelor's degree. They will, under close supervision, implement test documents to ensure that software operates within defined requirements. They will implement test plans, test cases, automation, and validation strategies.

Quality Assurance Engineer job duties:
- Execute functional/integration test procedures in lab environment.
- Prepare/review test scripts (Manual/Automated), and test data.
- Document defects using defect tracking systems (ITRACS, JIRA, ClearQuest).
- Troubleshoot and investigate root cause of defects.
- Adhere to internal and external processes and procedures.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of Quality Assurance/test experience required.
- Functional and E2E Integration Testing.
- Experience in Linux.
- Experience in Agile environment.
- U.S person is required.

Desired but not required skills:
- Experience with airplane systems or complex integrated systems testing.
- Experience with Python, Java, Ruby, bash, or similar scripting language.
- Experience in a regulatory environment with quality systems such as DO-178C, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent.

The salary range for this role is $85K to $100K; however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Belcan positions offer salary, benefits for employee and family, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance (add Belcan standard benefits). Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees receive 8.67 hours of PTO leave every month and 10 holidays throughout the calendar year.
