Job Description Job Description A respected national law firm is
working with LHH seeking a Special Project Lawyer (SPL) to join its
asset and corporate finance group. This team works closely with
lenders, master servicers, and special servicers on transactions
related to commercial mortgage-backed securities. The position
offers steady full-time work, long-term potential, and the
opportunity to contribute to complex financial matters within a
collaborative legal environment. Key Responsibilities • Support
attorneys in financing transactions involving commercial real
estate and structured finance • Review, draft, and analyze deal
documentation • Conduct issue-spotting with a high level of
precision • Work closely with the practice group to ensure smooth
workflow and timely completion of assignments • Handle
project-based work requiring strong independence, judgment, and
consistency • Maintain compliance with firm processes,
confidentiality requirements, and quality standards Requirements •
5-10 years of experience handling financing transactions •
Background in real estate law or real estate finance preferred (not
required) • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a
steady workload independently • Professional communication skills
and sound judgment • Must be available to commit exclusively to
this project - no concurrent legal work permitted • Active bar
license and in good standing Schedule & Work Expectations •
Approximately 40 hours per week • Remote work Ideal Candidate

accountability • Comfortable working in a structured environment
without micromanagement • Able to navigate financial and real
estate transaction documents with accuracy • Interested in stable,
ongoing work rather than short-term engagements Job Details Pay
Rate: $65 - $80/hr (W2) Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Contract, with potential long-term conversion
