Job Description:
Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiologic Technologist

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) Experience: 2 years
minimum License: Washington state DOH imaging license required
Certifications: BLS, ARRT registered Must-Have: Must have
Washington state license in hand. Must have experience working in a
larger, fast-paced hospital setting. Description: This position is
for an X-Ray Technician working in the Radiology department. The
technician will perform portable X-rays, X-rays in the department,
and in the emergency department. The position requires working with
other X-ray technicians during the shift. The department has four
X-ray rooms, four portables, and two fluoroscopy rooms. The average
number of scans or studies performed in a day varies from 20 to 50.
The department utilizes McKesson PACS and EPIC as their EMR and
PACS systems. Department specific equipment includes GE, Siemens,
and Shimadzu. Radiologists are available in-house from 8 AM to 5
PM, with remote reading after hours. There is no requirement to
start IVs in this position. Scrubs will be provided for the
duration of employment. This role may have optional holiday
requirements and minimal call duty. The department offers
orientation, including time with the manager and staff. The
facility reserves the right to cancel shifts under specific
conditions.
