your future with us. The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E)
organization has an opening for a Manufacturing Manager. This
opening will be on 1st Shift and will involve leading a team in
Seattle, WA supporting the 2-10 Machine Shop. This is an exciting
opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing team
of Mechanics responsible for the fabrication and assembly of a wide
variety of parts supporting both Lab Test and Flight Test
operations. Position Responsibilities: - Manages employees
performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines -
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and
develops organizational and technical strategies - Acquires
resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads
process improvements - Develops and maintains relationships and
partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and
direct reports - Provides oversight and approval of technical
approaches, products and processes - Manages, develops, and
motivates employees - Oversight and ownership to an injury free and
First Time Quality culture Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): - 3 year of experience in a manufacturing
environment - 3 years of experience working with collective
bargaining unit employees and an hourly union-represented workforce
- 1 years of experience using software applications for internet
navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized
computer applications - 3 years of experience in a leadership role,
leading teams or projects to successful completion. - Able to work
weekend overtime on a rotational basis (Approximately 3 times a
year) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): -
Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience - Experience managing Key
Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and
Manufacturing data - Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical
related field - Experience working with represented employees,
manufacturing operations and familiarity with project management
best practices - Familiarity with Lab Test and/or Flight Test
