Get to know the Opportunity:
Grab is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our Identity
and Access Management (IAM) team, which is part of our Trust,
Identity & Safety (TIS) group. The IAM is currently a 15 person
team including Mobile and Backend teams. You will lead a Backend
and Mobile team reporting into this role. You will be responsible
for continually exploring and improving the availability,
scalability, latency and efficiency of services owned by the

The IAM team you will be leading represents the best of breed
registration, authentication and authorization system for all user
participants in the Grab ecosystem tailored for Southeast Asian
markets. This involves building the IDP capabilities that can be
used by Grab services and External partners to facilitate SSO
experiences across the ecosystem, while being compliant to the
fintech regulations across the region. Your mission will be to
deliver authentication mechanisms that provide strong proof of user
identity while minimizing user friction, accommodating mobile, web
and voice environments.

15+ years relevant experience, working with B2C
Deep, hands-on programming and technical design skills
Prior experience building enterprise solutions in the IAM and
Security space is highly desired
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deliver complex,
successful web services and/or customer experiences efficiently and
Shown team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get
Ability to clearly communicate high level strategy and technical
details effectively across disciplines, locations, and
organizations, including to senior leadership
Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities
and build a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment

Understanding on how to effectively work with and grow
geo-distributed partner teams
Able to attract, develop, and keep high quality
BS/MS in Computer Science or other related Degrees is a nice to
