Job Description:

Imagine if you could get a new shirt from Amazon faster than you could get a pizza delivered. Or maybe a TV, or something even bigger - have you ever wondered what it would take to make that happen? At Amazon Global Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT), our innovations get customers the products they want, at the right price, faster than anyone else. We build the technology that makes the magic of Amazon happen for hundreds of millions of customers around the world. The Amazon SCOT organization is expanding our Direct Fulfillment team, and we are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to develop strategy, build features and drive business growth. Direct Fulfillment (dropship) allows Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from our vendor's warehouse, and is one of the fastest growing supply channels at Amazon. This channel helps expand Amazon's selection for our customers, at the quality and speed of delivery they have come to expect.

This role is responsible for defining a vision, creating long-term strategy, and designing and building features directly impacting the customer and vendor experiences. You will collaborate with retail leaders across product families and locales to drive growth in the Direct Fulfillment business. In this role, you will develop and operationalize technology to optimize the selection we include in the Direct Fulfillment program and how that selection is surfaced to customers. This includes 1) improving how we select the optimal offer to present to a given customer based on delivery speed and profitability considerations, and 2) developing and automating feedback loops to Amazon stakeholders and vendors to continuously improve delivery and profitability metrics. You will also drive initiatives to improve forecast accuracy for our program, a key input to foster instock rates and carrier performance.

The successful candidate will have a combination of customer and vendor focus, and strong analytical capability. You will dive deep in the details of technical supply chain systems and demonstrate a keen understanding of business drivers. You will work closely with Business Intelligence and Data Science as well as Software Development teams. The products and features you create have worldwide impact, requiring you to take a global perspective. Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation.
