Global Channel Marketing Operations Manager

Job Overview:

The Global Channel Marketing (GCM) team is responsible for creating, executing and optimizing a portfolio of integrated marketing programs and campaigns to drive Partner referred leads ("Sourced pipeline"), Partner-led revenue ("ARR") and other business goals.

As a key member of the GCM team, the Global Channel Marketing Operations Manager (GCMOM) is responsible for the strategy, implementation, and lifecycle management for the technology stack the entire GCM team utilizes. The infrastructure includes, but is not limited to Partner Relationship Management (PRM) on Averetek, Marketing Automation platform on Marketo, Partner segmentation and lead management on Salesforce.com, BI reporting on Tableau & Excel, market research and more.

Reporting to the Director of Global Channel Marketing, he/she will work closely with Channel Marketers around the globe, corporate Marketing OPS and CRM experts, BI analysts, and Demand Center teams.

Strategy - Developing a scalable, integrated MarTech infrastructure roadmap and data management strategies for our global channel teams, establishing platform objectives, analytics and KPI measurement approaches.

Partner Relationship Management (PRM) Platform owner - Designing and implementing the strategic, technical, and process roadmap to support and accelerate our global go-to-market efforts across the Partner Lifecycle (Recruitment, Onboarding, To Partner, and Through/with Partner, and Retention). Train, enable and support global marketers on how the PRM can be leveraged to support their regional strategies and channel partners.

Primary liaison to corporate Marketing Operations and CRM Teams - GCOMM engages and collaborates directly with marketing operations and CRM leaders and subject matter experts to identify gaps, document and articulate requirements and desired outcomes, prioritize development efforts, and act as the team lead.

Field Alignment and Readiness - Partner with Channel marketers around the globe to ensure that our teams are aware, prepared and are accountable for their individual roles in supporting and managing the content and campaign lifecycle within their respective markets. Create internal and external field briefings, promotions and incentives for utilization of MarTech tools.

Analytics and KPI Expert - Partner with GCM team to ensure that all GTM programs have clear and measurable success metrics, partners with Marketing OPS to ensure the measurement plan and infrastructure is in place, and championing a "test and learn" optimization approach. Analyzes channel marketing program performance and offers recommendations to increase yield, ROMI, and partner engagement.

Internal Advocacy and Global Best Practice Sharing - Support and contribute to internal communication vehicles to update, educate and share success stories to Concur and SAP stakeholders. Shares and syndicates operational and analytical best practices and strategies with Concur's regional field marketers around the globe.

10-20% Travel and reasonable schedule flexibility to interact with global marketers is expected.

The scope of role may expand or change as new channels emerge and Concur's MarTech stack evolves.

Position Requirements

Position Competency and Skill Requirements:

Education, Experience & Training

3-5+ years of experience in B2B marketing. 2+ years hands-on experience in a marketing operations role as a technical project manager, digital producer, marketing automation, CRM or analytics role.

Hands-on experience with modern digital marketing tools and channels, including content management systems (CMS), marketing automation (email marketing, landing pages, lead capture), content portals, virtual and field events, social media, and more.

Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field. Project Management (PMP or similar) certificate, technical product certification (CRM, MA or CMS), or similar certification a plus.

Power user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Tableau / BI, HTML or CMS skills a plus.

Ability to pass an SAP background check.

Critical Performance Competencies:

Cross-functional project management skills, including vendor management, are essential.

Communication skills, written, verbal and presentation. Requirements gathering, technical documentation skills, and marketer enablement tool development skills are key.

Working familiarity with Agile workflow and technical project management tools (JIRA, etc.).

Excellent discovery, listening, collaboration and influencing skills.

High level of attention to detail and quality assurance.

Analytical thinking, with a "test and learn" mindset to measure and optimize program performance and return.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize competing requests.
