Manager, Creative Direction leads a creative team of
copywriters, designers and art directors, focusing on email
communications to the T-Mobile for Business base and prospect
customers. We plan on rapidly expanding to include video/content
for other marketing channels. We're looking for an experienced B2B
Creative Director who has done it it all: concept development, art
direction, content strategy, writing, collaboration (internally and
externally) and most importantly, execution. You'll help develop
T-Mobile for Business visual brand identity as well as brand
You will work directly with T|Studios senior leadership,
marketing leaders, and the creative, digital and production groups
to build industry leading B2B sales and marketing communications.
This role also requires an ability to work closely with executive
leaders within the company to translate their thinking and/or
strategy into creative executions, presentations and engaging
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or design-related
- 4-7 years creative experience with agency, studio, production
company, or in-house teams
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver bar-raising
work in a B2B environment
- Portfolio of work with major brands and examples of B2B
- Ability to provide innovative creative ideas while adhering to
- Strong understanding of Direct Marketing techniques.
- Ability to optimize creative based on results and handle
multiple projects simultaneously.
- Guide and implement the creative ideation, vision and design
feel across multiple email initiatives.
- Effectively visually assemble and implement email ideas to
drive exceptional visual story development of concepts; leading and
working with others on design mockups for a variety of email
- Manage and guide the efforts to prepare and convey the email
creative idea / concept for presentation from the creative team up
to and including executive leadership.
- T-Mobile's success is due to our ability to craft a
motivational story around people and our purpose. We create content
that speaks with, not at people. You should be able to guide
copywriters, designers and steer work against this mission.
- Possess the ability to take ownership of ideation / creative
initiatives and related decisions.
- Work effectively with and influence creative team members and
other key stake holders in defining the vision of national and
local email campaigns and ongoing projects.
- Partner with creative team members and Studio Managers in
overseeing the email creative process throughout the entire project
- Work independently and proactively. You can take a Brief - or
more often, a conversation - and turn it into an idea. You know
when to get others involved, and how to work with peers inside and
outside Creative team
- Present your team's work thoroughly and thoughtfully and stand
behind every creative decision.
- Aren't precious about your work. Don't get us wrong - we want
passionate Creative thinkers. But we also want Creatives seasoned
enough to know when to push back, when to take feedback, and when
to move on.
