Sr Product Marketing Manager

  • 7+ years Product Marketing and/or Product Management
  • Experience in any of these areas: IoT platform and solutions, connected car, emerging 5G technologies
  • Demonstrable understanding of subscription service economics
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to design and deliver against a business roadmap
  • Demonstrable data driven decision making
  • Extensive customer interaction experience and customer success storytelling
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and strong content development skills (crisp messaging and compelling presentation of content) as well as excellent presentation, writing and editing skills
  • Proven interaction, interface and project management with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing programs/campaigns, demand generation, field marketing and sales
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study such as computer science

What you'll do in this role:

  • Establish and maintain a strong brand vision and a winning value-proposition for all B2B solutions to drive the product positioning and messaging and development of marketing material
  • Drive product launch planning and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver the commercial release of a product
  • Guide the creation of all product-centric marketing materials, including website, technical briefs, presentation decks, promo videos, webinars, etc.
  • Establish and maintain a close linkage between marketing and sales and care activities to support the customer experience and ensure financial objectives are met
  • Educate sales teams on products and create an effective set of sales enablement tools
  • Help guide customer research and thought leadership content development to tell a compelling "story" for key buyers
  • Write and maintain the core product content that supports the buyer's journey content that will be created by the content marketing team (e.g. whitepapers, videos, blog posts)
  • Develop the competitive comparison guide for use in positioning against similar offerings from other organizations
  • Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts
  • Conduct win/loss interviews and perform ongoing analysis to determine the level of customer product adoption and provide feedback to the product and go-to-market teams
