We are seeking a curious, highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, tool-savvy steward to lead our data strategy and ETL processes to enable enterprise media analytics. The media data landscape is dispersed and spread across external partner platforms, and we need you to understand it all, and join those media data to internal business outcome data. This role requires strong foundational skills in data management and tools. On top of that, an understanding of how these data will be used for business and analytics, a natural willingness to explore new data sets, and effective communication skills with partners are all necessary to be successful in this role.

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in relevant field (Information systems, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Computer Science etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytics or technical role
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Tableau
  • Proven track record of managing large complex datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, and to build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Effective at communicating requirements to cross-functional teams and vendors, as well as communicating data solutions to partners for reporting and analytics
  • Ability to handle multiple workstreams concurrently with excellent prioritization skills and self-motivation
  • Extreme attention to detail, yet also work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, explore new data sets, and gain technical knowledge in a fast-growing, dynamic business

  • Organize, maintain, and serve as a SME for all media analytics data – both media data (cost, impressions, etc) and business outcome data
  • Establish ETL processes, and work with media partners to improve datasets
  • Write advanced SQL queries with complex joins
  • Build Tableau visualizations to qc and monitor data
  • Lead UAT efforts on new production data sets
  • Understand various data platforms and establish governance on appropriate use cases for each
  • Partner with analytic teams and data scientists to communicate data structures and definitions, to enable media measurement, analytics, and attribution modeling
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external partners/vendors to communicate business requirements and prioritization
  • Help establish prototypes of new data, figuring out solutions for what data to land, where, and how different data sets relate to one another
