We are a small but growing team that is developing a cloud-based
application running on Azure which helps teams in Microsoft to
manage various types of spend (in billions) more effectively. We
are developing the application with a goal to decentralize budget
planning, spend management and forecasting activities and empower
engineering and other teams to manage and track their spend with
ease. Our application (Finance 365) ingests millions of records of
transactional data and helps make sense of information buried in
traditional ERP systems. With rapid adoption of the solution, we
are now building additional features and partnering with various
teams in Microsoft to build integration with variety of other
platforms and applications including Azure spend.
We are part of the Business Applications Group where products
like Dynamics and Power BI live, all within the Cloud+AI division.

- 5+ years of proven architecting/coding skills in C# and modern
- 5+ years of database development experience with technologies
like MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with web technologies, such as
- Experience with multi-tier software architectures (i.e.
Presentation, Application, Business, and Data layers)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or
- Experience with Azure Data Factory/Azure Data Lake. Working
with big data, HD Insights, an Azure ML
- Knowledge of unstructured datasets (Hadoop, Cosmos, Data Bricks
- Designed and developed scalable cloud services using MS Azure
- Knowledge of Dynamics Power Platform & Common Data

You will be part of a team responsible for building next
generation intelligent financial spend management application that
is changing the way how things are done at Microsoft. We are
looking for a software engineer with strong data management
background along with front end development experience. To be
successful in this role you will help design modern data pipeline
to collect, organize, and process data from multiple sources into
SQL Azure. This includes but is not limited to stored procedures,
views, functions, data manipulation scripts and ETL. The other half
of the job is to work with the existing engineers to develop
end-to-end features across the entire software stack, including
application, services, and database technologies.
