Job Description Procurement Coordinator Summary: This position is responsible for managing goods and services procurement processes for the Internal Store Operations team, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery, liaise with vendors, establishing strong working relationships and comparing pricing and services to pursue the most profitable course in line with business objectives. Essential Job Functions: * Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization (e.g., issuance of purchase requisitions/purchase orders and receiving process), ensuring appropriate remittance and delivery * Maintain and update PO tracker for spend visibility * Evaluate and negotiate low-value contracts with vendors * Track inventory and restock goods when needed * Stay up to date on industry trends and new products * Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing * Build relationships with existing vendors and identify new vendors to service emerging needs * Identify procurement processes to be improved or made more efficient * Create and oversee KPI tracking and various reporting * Work with Manager, Procurement Operations and Sr. Manager Planning & Space Allocation on a variety of projects * Work with Manager, Procurement Operations on RFx suite projects (e.g., gathering of vendor responses, comparison of pricing, and vendor recommendations) * Other responsibilities as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * An analytical, problem-solving mindset, self-starter, ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors * Experience with data entry, database management, and reporting and compliance * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Demonstrated organization skills * Demonstrated customer service skills * Ability to interact with all levels of the organization * Ability to work independently or as a member of a team * Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision * Ability to have high attention to detail Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience: * A bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management * Prefer 3 years' experience in procurement, project management, or a relevant Supply Chain role * Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge and experience Physical Requirements: * Ability to sit for up to 8 hours at a time. * Ability to work during core business hours. * Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. * Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication, and to make the discriminations in sound. * Ability to receive detailed information visually through written communication (both physical and electronic).
