What We Do
HomePace provides homeowners with the ability to transform the equity they've built in their home into cash without the burden of additional debt, interest, or monthly payments.

HomePace's mission is to help homeowners meet their unique financial needs by unlocking the value of their largest asset, their home. Through our Home Equity Investment (HEI) solution, HomePace invests in a home, providing the homeowner with funds upfront. The homeowner can use these funds to pay off debt, improve their home, fund their retirement, or handle any other financial need - with no interest or monthly payments.

In exchange for receiving funds today from HomePace, the homeowner agrees to share a percentage of the home's gain (or loss) in value with HomePace when he/she chooses to sell the home or buy out HomePace's investment. Because HomePace is making an investment alongside the homeowner, as opposed to simply adding more debt, we are directly aligned in seeing the homeowner succeed and the home increase in value over time. We win when the homeowner wins.

As we continue to see homeowners concerned about increasing debt, the cost of home improvements, and the ability to retire comfortably, HomePace offers a new alternative to homeowners to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact for all referrals and inbound leads, qualify leads, and build interest in the product
Educate homeowners about the structure of a Home Equity Investment (HEI), and serve as a home equity investment (HEI) product subject matter expert
Assess each homeowner's needs, and ensure a mutual fit between clients and a HomePace contract
Quarterback all aspects of the origination process, from initial product education through underwriting and closing. Anticipate timelines and set expectations with homeowners for the process and time to fund.
Build a scalable, repeatable, and efficient origination model in conjunction with external referral partners as well as internal operations and investment teams

Minimum experience and skills required:
3+ years of consumer-facing product education, relationship management, or advisory experience in financial services, including lending, wealth management, real estate, insurance, or financial products
You are an exceptional communicator with a consultative approach
You love working with and speaking to clients
You are passionate about personal finance and enabling homeowners to achieve their financial goals
You can overcome objections and build great client relationships
You enjoy being a product expert, and educating others about complex financial products or topics
You are intellectually curious and enjoy making the complex simple
You're driven to constantly improve yourself, others, and processes to drive business results

Ideal Candidates may also have:
7+ years of relationship management or advisory experience, within a fast-growth company
Have prior experience as an underwriter, loan officer, loan processor, mortgage broker, or real estate agent
Experience refining and building repeatable sales processes
Experience teaching or coaching others on sales or relationship management skill sets
Prior management experience building and scaling teams, including hiring sales or relationship management team members
Developed or designed sales or marketing collateral
Defined and built tools to measure sales KPIs or other success metrics
Salesforce or other CRM/POS experience
