That's where we come in.What We Do:At Formations, we're developing the first comprehensive product to automate business incorporation, expense tracking, payroll, and benefit allocations. With our technology and team of financial experts by their side, self-employed professionals will have the playbook and tools needed to focus on growing their business while saving thousands on annual taxes, achieving financial well-being, and securing their futures.The Opportunity:A Senior leadership position with the responsibility to manage and grow an established offshore accounting and back-end support team. The primary responsibilities are scaling, increased efficiency, and operational oversight across a growing customer base. Help take our offshore, built from the ground-up, Fulfilment department to the next level – scheduled to triple in size over the next 2 years. The role is designed for operational expertise and proficiency. A team of US tax and accounting subject matter experts supported the role in an advisement capacity. This role is a member of the leadership group setting direction and decisions for the company.Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and strategize policy updates, procedures, and our playbook with efficiency and clarity top of mind.
  • Review recommendations from Subject Matter Experts on changes needed for an evolving business, optimizing for offshore adoption and monitoring.
  • Provide operational guidance, support, budgeting, and oversight to a growing offshore operation.
  • Participate in strategy session to ensure company initiatives and decisions are effectively adopted throughout the Fulfillment department.
  • Report regularly within the Formations leadership group on the status, opportunities, and changes to our offshore office.
  • Meet weekly with our offshore management team to drive priorities, company initiatives, and operational decisions during standard business hours for Southeast Asia time zones.
  • Flexibility to travel to develop the team on-site as our operation scales.What You Bring to Formations
    • 5+ years in senior leadership position with largescale global process building
    • Experience working with remote operations. Preference for history of working with foreign based teams with different values and driving principals
    • Demonstrated skillset for process creation, responsibility mapping, management training, quality assurance, critical thinking, and decision making.
    • Financial Industry knowledge is not required but would assist in easy transition into the position. Ideal candidates have prior experience in supply chain management, service production pipeline, business process automation, quality assurance, managing cost of goods budgeting, analytical and strategic decision making.
    • KPI creation, montioring, and action plan assessments as a primary prior role.
